Origin: the honey comes from meadows and forests above 900 m above sea level in the area around Emmetten/Nidwalden/Switzerland, south of Lake Lucerne. The saffron is pure Negin saffron from Iran.
Honey harvest: April-May. Saffron harvest: mid-October to early December.
Color: yellow-reddish.
Consistency: creamy.
Aroma: The saffron dominates the honey and can be detected as soon as the jar is opened. However, its characteristic flavor only develops after a few seconds, but then lingers for several minutes.
The honey and saffron are of premium organic quality.
